A very fine and pleasant misery. This is a ride that begins with familiar terrain through Betteravia to Palmer and then Dominion. Climbing up Dominion we then head for Clark for another steady climb. A refreshing downhill through Orcutt into Old Orcutt and then Highway 1. Left on 1 and take the ramp to Vandenberg. Climb and descend to San Antonio West all the way through to the Bishop Rd turn off. This will have an optional ride to the tracking site. Otherwise we ride through Casmalia and return to town by way of Highway 1 and Solomon Rd. This is a tough ride with lots of climbing and distance. However, there are several places where riders can take optional ways to return. Our ride will be just over 50 miles with 2,882 feet of climbing. This would be labeled challenging.
